GNU/Linux Command – MPSTAT

mpstat — Report processor(s) related statistics.

Summary:

The mpstat command writes to standard output activities for each available processors, processor 0 being the first one. Global average activities among all processors are also reported.

Examples:
$ mpstat -- Show statistics about all processors. $ mpstat -P 1 -- Show the statistics info about processor 1. (Note: 0 is 1st, 1 is 2nd, ...) $ mpstat 5 -- Show the statistics for every 5 sec. $ mpstat 5 5 -- Show 5 reports of statistics for all processors at 5 second intervals and calculate the average at the end.
