Virus Removal from USB Stick in Linux

Last few days, I connected my USB stick to many Windoz PC for taking print-out and copy some of the scanned documents. As a result of this, my USB is affected by virus and lot of exe files are created in my stick. Initially, I thought of deleting manually. But the number of this virus files so high. So use the below command to delete this files.

cd /media/usb
find . -type f -name “*.exe” -exec sudo rm -f {} ;

Suppose, if you get the “File System Read Only Error” then unmount the USB stick, disconnect and then reconnect it. After mounting the device, just run this above command 1st.
